Nursing students’ experience of academic learning in a Cambodian School of Nursing

The purpose of the study was to determine nursing students’ satisfaction their experiences academic program at a university school in Cambodia. Positive educational programs have been linked increased development professional identity and beliefs around chosen discipline. As education profession continues undergo rapid change Cambodia, it seen that an evaluation both teaching quality experience within important aspect maintaining high programs. is cross-sectional design using Undergraduate Nursing Students` Academic Satisfaction Scale (UNSASS) addition demographic data. UNSASS, with permission from authors, underwent cross-cultural adaptation for Cambodian context. Analysis undertaken SPSS version 17.0. One hundred seventy Associate Degree Bachelor Science students were surveyed, including middle final years cohorts. findings show overall felt positively about experience, safe make mistakes supportive environment, had positive relationships faculty clinical preceptors. However, large number neutral responses may indicate cultural hesitance reporting any negative feedback.
